Terms of Service
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before using Cloudvgs services.
Last updated: May 18, 2026
1. Scope and General Provisions
These Terms of Service govern the agreement between Cloudvgs ('the Provider') and any individual or legal entity ('the Customer') who contracts our game server hosting (Minecraft, Rust, Ark, etc.), Virtual Private Servers (VPS), and web hosting services. By registering an account or making a payment, the Customer expressly agrees to these terms in their entirety.
2. Service Provision and Delivery
Cloudvgs agrees to deploy contracted servers in an automated manner once payment is confirmed. For standard game servers (e.g. Minecraft), the service is delivered via an assigned port and the option of a free custom subdomain (e.g. yourserver.cloudvgs.com), without including a dedicated public IP address unless explicitly contracted via a specific plan or add-on.
3. Fair Use and Resource Limits
Game server plans are strictly limited by the allocated amount of RAM. CPU and NVMe storage usage are provided under a 'Fair Use' policy for the legitimate operation of the game server. It is strictly prohibited to use our servers for cryptocurrency mining, DDoS attacks, botnet hosting, port scanning, malicious scripts, or any illegal activity.
4. Payment, Billing, and Refunds
All services operate on a prepaid model. The Customer is responsible for renewing their services before the expiration date to avoid suspension. We offer a 72-hour money-back guarantee for new game server orders if the service experiences technical failures not attributable to the Customer that our support team cannot resolve.
5. Backups and Data Loss
Although Cloudvgs performs periodic automated backups (daily or weekly depending on the contracted plan) to protect our infrastructure, the Customer is solely responsible for maintaining local, up-to-date backups of their worlds, databases, and files. Cloudvgs is not liable for data loss resulting from user misconfiguration or third-party software failures.
6. Suspension and Termination
Cloudvgs reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate without prior notice any service that violates these Terms of Service, generates an abusive impact on our network or infrastructure, or maintains overdue invoices.
7. Limitation of Liability
Cloudvgs shall not be liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure events, external network provider failures, or massive DDoS attacks, despite our advanced protection. Our maximum cumulative liability for any claim shall be limited to the amount paid by the Customer during the month in which the incident occurred.
8. Latency and Ping Guarantee
Although our infrastructure in Guadalajara, Mexico is optimized to provide ultra-low latency (under 20ms within Mexico), the final ping depends on the user's Internet Service Provider (ISP), external routing, and geographic location. Therefore, ping variations or high latency outside our backbone network do not constitute a breach of service and are not eligible grounds for a refund.
